Peanut butter heaven
What a fun weekend, Sara T came over from NYC For a quick visit with her new boyfriend, a lovely guy called Anthony from New Zealand. Also my dad came for a visit on Saturday which gave us a chance to catch up and vic, myself and poppy attended a rather lovely BBQ at a friends place on Sunday.
I do love seeing Sara when she comes over as not only do we not get to see her much (her being on the other side of the world an all) but also because she brings Peanut buttery goodness with her in the shape of Reeses Peanut butter cups and Reeses pieces, neither of which you can get over here. It is one of the oddity's I find about the US, How you can have such awful chocolate as Hershey bars and but have the peanut scrumminess of reeses pieces. Unfortunately I am on a diet so have to limit myself on how much I can eat.
Unfortunately Sara had to return to the US on Monday so all has returned to bog standard normality apart, from the packing which is having to be pushed up a gear as hopefully we should have a moving date in the next couple of weeks.
Well that's it for now as I have lots of errands to run, more soon.
