Treason.
The dictonairy defines treason as:
Treason is the crime of disloyalty to one's nation. A person who betrays the nation of their citizenship and/or reneges on an oath of loyalty and in some way willfully cooperates with an enemy, is considered to be a traitor. Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as: "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]."
In 1998 the death penelty was withdrawn in the UK for treason thus ending capital punishment. The last person I can find who was tried and excexuted for treason is Theodroe Schurch on the 4th January 1946.
Ok i know there not asking the death penalty for these people but i feel that treason is a little far to go to secure a conviction.
Although if they get really desperate they could always be shipped over to jersey where the death penelty is still held for treason (amongst other things).
