Culinary construction

For generations I feel we have been overlooking a viable alternitve to concrete and brick. Many fables have given us the answer, that substance is gingerbread.
The use of gingerdread as a construcion medium has long been surpressed by the powers that be, due to the whole witch/troll issue that surrounds it, there also has been great controversy over it's use following the child Vs witch trial in the 70s, where the judge found in favour of Ms Witch and sumerised by saying
"If someone want's to build there property out of baked goods they were free to do so and should not be expected to pay for defending that property from hungry maurading children, who's parents should be in better control".
Now I understand that some of you may be sceptical and are thinking things like, can it be made load bearing, how wll it be waterproof things like that. Well these are good question and could only be solved with proper goverment funded reaserch. Think though of the advantages, a cheap, easy to repair and maintain, easy to alter building material and in times of emergency a concentrated food source.
This does of course open up a whole world of possabilities in building construction, breadstick beams, flapjack flooring, toffee windows all a possability.
Unfortunatly the powers that be will never allow it and will use the excuse that it is a stupid idea and holds no mert.
Filastines!
