Back part 1.
Hello soil fans, I am back!
A little wired, a little tired but back none the less. What has been happening? Well I'm here to tell.

On Sunday the 9th we received word that Vic's sister had died (found by her brother who also 2 yrs ago found her father as well) and chaos ensued as I was also due to start back at work on the 10th.
Well Vic went off to Cornwall on the Sunday night and returned on the Tuesday, I took most of the week off as Vic had to go down to Cornwall and back again on the Thursday, I had to go to the work on the Friday and we all had to go to Cornwall on the Sunday for the funeral on the Monday.
luckily due to the kindness of Sue and Kevin we were able to stay at Trevina at short notice. The funeral was a nice one and was very well attended by lots of friends and family and it was nice to see how many people had turned up.
Vic stayed with me in Cornwall until the Thursday, as I had previously arranged to be in Cornwall that week anyway to help Kevin start building his barn and for Edmunds birthday at the weekend.
Barn construction went well with only a few minor set backs. The ground which had laid undisturbed for rather a long time proved hard as granite and refused to yield to even the most energetic of pick axe blows, however that and the constant attacks from Horseflys (23 dead in one day) did not deter us and by everyone's arrival on Friday 8 posts were set in and concreted.

Find out what happened on our fantastic Coastering and kayaking day in part 2.
