My Wii is coming!
No this is not some reference to a failing prostate, it is the conformation of the fact that I have bought a Nintendo Wii or rather Vicky has bought me one. Sort of.
Basically Vicky is giving me a Nintendo Wii for my birthday and for Christmas is promising not to complain about it.

I am as you can understand very excited and feel I have to go and lay down..........
..........
..........
..........

That's better.

Now I know that Nintendo causes some controversy amongst the Gaming fraternity whenever mentioned, so I have compiled a little list of reasons why I have chosen the Wii over the other contenders (Xbox 360 and PS3).

My reasons:

1) The price:
Lets face it at the price that Nintendo sell there consoles it is defiantly value for money.
Wii - £179 (I have bought it for £255 with Wii sports, warioware: smooth moves and Zelda).
Xbox 360 - £279
PS3 - $1089 not out in the UK yet

2) The style:
Compact, sleek and cute enough to sit next to all the other stuff I have piled onto the shelf not to be two noticeable.
Wii
Xbox
PS3

3) The controller:
I sorry but if you don't think that the controller is just a fantastic piece of design and an incredible idea then you need to read up more.
Wii
Xbox
PS3

4) Wifi:
It will connect to the internet via wireless and once there you have access to Nintendos entire back catalogue of games from all there previous systems.

5) Interesting extras:
Mii's – you stats character that you can download to the wand and take with you to use on other machines, Different pads etc, up to 4 controllers and Wii internet channels.

6) Game consistency:
Nintendo have always, in my eyes gone for quality over quantity when it comes to there games. They are always well thought out, playable and with a suitable smattering of insanity.

7) Game type:
I like to play games with other people not just my male friends, Nintendo have always produced a wide range of games aimed at everyone. So this means that vic can play as well.

This list could go on for a long time and I cant be bothered. Suffice to say that the Wii has come out tops for me and I am very, very, very excited about it.
