Washing Machine strangeness
Why is it that whenever you add a duvet cover to a wash it eats all the other washing in the machine?
It's true! you put your washing in the machine including a duvet cover and at the end you go to take it out and your entire wash is in the cover. You are pulling on the cover to get it out and the whole load is trying to fit through the door.
I have tried everything, scrunching the cover so that the opening is in the center of a ball of duvet cover, No joy the only survivor of the duvet creature was one sock. I also tried doing the poppers up but that was just a pointless exercise.
The only time that this strange phenomena hasn't been entirely effective is when i put a cover in that had buttons, It only managed to consume 3 socks, one pair of pants and half a jumper.
I am convinced that this is where all the odd socks have ended up, my bloody duvet ate them. ;)
